As a mom of two little ones, I understand just how fleeting and meaningful each chapter of life is. From baby giggles to teenagers finding their voice, I know how much these seasons matter—and how important it is to preserve them before they slip by. That’s why I approach every portrait session with patience, warmth, and a storytelling eye, creating space for genuine connection and emotion.

MINI SESSION - KC NORTHLAND ONLY

Short and sweet, but just as meaningful. These sessions are available exclusively in the Kansas City Northland and are ideal for quick seasonal updates or little milestone moments.

FAQs

Do you charge a travel fee?

If your session or wedding is more than one hour outside of Kansas City, a travel fee will apply. Just let me know your location and I’ll give you all the details—no surprises!

Do you retouch the photos?

I don’t do heavy retouching or body altering—every body is beautiful just as it is! That said, I’ll clean up little distractions like blemishes or stray bits of litter so the focus stays on you and your story.

Who picks the location?

We do that together! I want to hear what vibe you’re going for, and I’ll help you find the perfect spot. Whether it's a wild field, cozy city corner, or somewhere in between—we’ll make it work.

When will I get my photos?

Portrait sessions are delivered within 2–4 weeks, and weddings take about 6–8 weeks. But don’t worry—you’ll get a little sneak peek soon after the session to hold you over!

Do I get the RAW files?

Nope! I don’t deliver raw images. Part of the magic is in the editing—that’s where your story really comes to life. You’ll receive fully edited, high-resolution images that are ready to print, share, and love.

Do you have a studio?

I don’t have my own studio space, but if you’re dreaming of a clean, styled indoor session, we can easily rent a beautiful studio for an additional cost.

How many photos will I get?

You can expect about 50 images per hour of shooting. I focus on quality over quantity—every image you receive will be meaningful and beautifully edited.

How do you pose people?

I’m all about the in-between moments! Rather than stiff poses, I’ll give you natural prompts and little movements to bring out your personalities. We’ll keep things fun and relaxed so your images feel like you.

How long have you been doing this?

I’ve been a professional photographer for over 10 years, and yes—I actually went to school for it! This isn’t just my job, it’s my passion, and I bring all that experience into every session I shoot.
